Lunch by the water

My girlfriends from Dubai had to leave us a day before the pool party unfortunately but when they were waiting for their flight to take off, Daniel, another friend of ours arrived just in time to meet them both. We enjoyed an extremely long rosé lunch with them all at our favorite restaurant here on Antigua, Cecilia's, ran by the beautiful, tall Helmut Newton model that I told you about last time. Located perfectly close to the airport making it a convenient place for both lunch and dinner when awaiting a flight. We're always having the best times at her house amongst her beautiful family, dogs and cats. You remember last time we had a dinner at Cecilia's? Check here for pictures from that night.

thankful

Thank you so much friends, family and blog readers for your greetings and emails on my birthday. I'd also like to send millions of thanks to our friend Jeff for organizing one of my birthday parties at his gorgeous house yesterday. And of course thanks to Alex - my soul mate, partner and husband that I like to call him even if we're not yet married, for not only being a man who can sort out and organize everything from emergency repairing my broken heels and preparing the most amazing barbeque dinner for that beautiful day to untangling my hair after it got stuck into the fan of the blow-dryer (seriously), but also for being such a patient, understanding and loving man even in the most stressful of moments (ok, most of the times at least lol). Not only does life get better with years of wisdom and experience, so does also the strongest and most profound friendships and relationships. Thank you all for making my/our past week an unforgettable one.

flow

It's pretty intense with lots of celebration here these days. Today we have a pool party to look forward to, the final part of the celebration into the thirties.. will be back with you after that one.

3x30

Thirty is really nothing compared to what this gracious lady turns a few days after me. Can you only imagine how much life experience and wisdom one must possess when you're three times older than what I am. I enjoy listening to the elderly reminisce about their lives with stories from past generations. It makes me feel like I haven't even started my life yet and that there are so many more spiritual, mental and physical challenges and journeys to look forward to in the future. I welcome them all with open arms. I have always lived with the mindset that I will live and enjoy my life like it was my last days on earth and I will continue to do so for also this new decade that I'm stepping into today. Not sure if that type of thinking will bring me all the way to ninety but at least I will have enjoyed an insanely intense and fulfilling ride.

almost 30

5,5 hours left of my twenties... time to begin the celebration.

Help me find webs best travel blogs

Sunset by Curtain Bluff

I have so many photos and stories to show/tell you but no time at the moment.... occupied with many wonderful events so the blog is secondary for the time being. Will be all yours again in a few days.

And just a quick question before I leave you again.. for an upcoming project I need to get a hold on some really cool travelers. Can you give me your best travel blogs, please? There must be inspiring and outstanding photography, written by smart and genuine people, singles, couples or groups doesn't matter, and they need to bring something fresh and new to the never ending stream of online travel stories. It can be a sailing blog, one about surfing or another type of travel/photo blog, just as long as it's documenting the world in an unique and beautiful way. Send me an email or add your tips here, thanks!
