Mmmmmm.....looks delish. I'm cooking dinner right now (chicken wings, roasted potatoes & brussel sprouts with butter & parmesan cheese) and reading your blog! I'll try your dish soon! We've done deep fried turkey in a big turkey frier. It's one our faves! It's not suitable for a boat however, we do that in a clearing at our second home in Northern Michigan with all our friends & family. Love your blog!!
You should get a nice wok for this type of cooking. Not sure if there is any Chinese population in Colombia but a nice hand made wok would be quite good for you.
This looks delicious ! And sounds so flavoursome in your description and the herbs / flavours used. I just whisked up a little tasty rice dish with some vegetables and leftovers and the like xxx
Your dinners always look so tasty!
Im just amazed at how you guys are always eating like this and sweets and never gain weight??? I guess it the 30 something metabolism...
Seriopusly Taru, you do have some really great recipes and perhaps you should consider a cookbook for boaters and landlovers. You made this great coconut cake a few years ago that I made too and it was fabulous!

Meghan Silva's Blog
for an asian twist add sesame oil - it adds a fantastic nutty taste to everything. ALso has high smoking point so great for deep frying
Thanks for the encouragement Lora, hoping to produce one such book one of these days.
Nonsensgirl: Oh yes, I love sesame oil. Thanks for the reminder. I think there's a bottle of that somewhere here on the boat.
I'm so impressed with your culinary skills!
