For the senses
My only advice in keeping plants alive on a sailboat would be to have them as artwork, patterns on the pillows (sorry to be cliche, but I love my Tommy Bahama pillows with their palm frond motifs in the cabin of my sailboat), or a simple herb garden that you keep trimmed by eating them...
Basil and mint seem hardy, but I've never had luck with rosemary or dill — all of my favorite, fresh spices.
Best of luck!

Keep it simple. Less material = more freedom! That's what made our tour perfect.
Naked flames on a yacht are not very smart. They look nice while they sit, OK as they fly through the air, but after they land things can get a little ugly.
Looks very cosy, hope we'll get more pics of our new interiour...?
