Taru,
Ignore the naysayers. It is an interesting and attractive website. No doubt it will earn you some money on your way around the world and also provide a presence when you return to the world of work in future years. Go for it and don't concern yourself too much with others opinions of what you are doing.
Crack on!
Rob
Haha!! Awesome....as they say, any publicity is good publicity! LOVE IT!
All I can say is that the reactions are exactly what we wanted and expected, so no need to worry about my personal concern regarding this type of publicity. After running blogs and commercial websites since 2005, I definitely know what type of publicity is needed to turn a web portal into a success, so it is all very welcome - just like Windtraveler points it out! /T
keep the good work, this is XXI century sailing blog
That is so funny :-)
Keep up the good work!
I don't know a thing abot sailing, but I like looking into your blog, although your livestyle seems to be very different from mine. So please keep the blog up ;)
The german article is sort of indifferent. They just say that you caused some controversity in the sailing community
Just make sure to wear a burka if ever you should visit germany in the future, what a pile of BS!
It's kind of scary though that the people that roam the seas in (much sought-after) freedom are starting to dictate rules on how to behave in the worldtraveling scene now, the sheer arrogance!
You guys are beautiful young people who love life and you obviously ain't afraid of living it either and that's exactly what it is all about!
Be free, live the dream and, not in the least, keep us informed!
Love your blogs! Ciao
Rob
