Bon Voyage!
Hey Taru,
Excuse me because I haven't replied to your e-mail (just yet) but I will very soon, it's been such a consuming week-end of ... Wine festivals, all over Bordeaux. Then there was the ohso dangerous wine tasting that I encountered over the last 3 days, which entailed... 3 evenings of hardcore wine parties, cheeses, and too much french snacks for 3 days!!!
I can't wait to reply to you tomorrow though, thank you SO much for your e-mail!!!
In the mean time, bon voyage mon amie. Have an amazzzzzing journey. Safe travels, music and wine nights, food and relax on the way!!! bisous...

You mention Les Saintes, which is a wonderful choice. If you find yourselves at Guadeloupe, across the way, I might suggest the anchorage immediately west of Caravelle (Club Med), just West of St Anne. Up and to the left (west of the Club Med property) is a small cluster of red-roofed bungalows forming Hotel La Toubana. There is a very small beach/landing behind a rock jetty. A walkway takes you up to beautiful clifftop views, along with a gorgeous pool, restaurant, and bar. Happy sailing!
That freedom must be a most welcome break from the general life we all live.
Enjoying your journey with you!
