90 miles to go

Topping up the diesel tank to leave for St Martin. It's supposed to be good wind, 15-20 knots from the North East but better to be on the safe side. This passage between Antigua-St Martin has been very unpredictable each of the times we've done it and this time we're not willing to bob around in the middle of the sea waiting for good winds. Alex is a hard core sailor at heart and it takes much to convince him to turn on the engine, but as we got a pretty tight schedule this time we'll need to be prepared for the worst. Looking forward to arrive to St Martin tomorrow morning if everything goes as planned. Thank you by the way for the comments and emails some of you sent since my post two steps down, no need to worry for me though, worst things have happened in the world, it's just that sometimes life feels a bit heavier than at others. Especially when everything happens at the very same time. But still no big drama. Have a good end of the weekend my friends.
