Let's ask the question ALL the men following this blog want to know: does Taru have any single sisters or (female) friends who also love to sail?!

I, for one, am on the verge of sailing away (hope to be in the Caribbean next fall), but the thought of going solo is, well, let's call it "unpleasant." And just look at any sailing forum on the Web and you'll see sections dedicated to singles...and all the men sailing solo who'd kill for a first mate like Taru.

So...congrats to Alex for hitting the jackpot, but any suggestions (or better yet: leads) for the rest of us?

Taru - I like your style of photography. particularly your product shots. I take it both you and Alex work the camera and you do the post processing? Out of curiosity, how much clean up do you do on the photos before posting? My wife sometimes does wedding photo work for friends and it's amazing the amount of work it takes to get the raw photo from the camera to be 'finished' product. In fact, one of the reasons she avoids it is because people don't realize it's more than just snap, download, post.

Now you've gone and done it Taru - all the puritanical, conservative "message board sailor's" have had heart attacks and we won't have to listen to their drivel anymore!

It doesn't matter where you go or the way in which you travel. All this fades over life's horizon.

The true journey is defined by how you share it, by who is at your side as you sail away. By that one who will face towards a horizon with you. Don't try to forge a perfect love on the open seas, but commit to making a love perfect by challenging the world, and its ocean's vast together.

I mean - don't make the trip to find the girl, wait for the girl to make the trip of a lifetime! We can all be great!
