I wake up earlier on a sailboat too. Mornings in the middle of the sea are so much nicer...
is there anything more important than seeing the sun rise each morning ??,, 'salute' to the sun as it rises is our thanks for having another day on this wonderful planet. cheers 'different drum' ps the boat shots are getting better and better
You must learn to tune your life to the sun. That means in bed by 8 or 9 pm. At least you can sleep in to 7 in winter.
1. As we enter into Spring and Summer the days get longer and the sun rises earlier. Today it was 6.06 am, in 14 days time it will be 5.55 am
2. The older you get the less hours you do sleep. Start worrying when you sleep max 4 hours at a time.
3. The Cock-A-Doodle-Doo creature is also simply known as "dinner"
:-)
As much as I like late nights ... I do enjoy mornings - especially by the sea (or in the desert!)
theChanticleer is the” most beautiful” Clear Singing Guy so
Wouldn’t call a (morning) Rooster THAT :)
more Cock as in Cock-Tail ;) like the afternoon drinks...
Found this as ONE explanation in a “book-of-drinks” :
“A story from New Orleans, an apothecary named Peychaud, served a brandy drink in a French eggcup... the drink was named -coquetier- (eggcup/in French) shortened by his customer to -cocktay- ... and then it transformed to -cocktail-
True or False I don’t Know... but fun as an odd Know How/Why :)

to wake up with the sun is beautiful yes, but not to wake up BEFORE the sun even arrived to our part of the world, that's just insanity.
Sav I'm in bed at 9 or 10 lately, maybe that's what's wrong, maybe i need to stay up a few more hours so i don't wake up as early as 5.
6:45 was good
yes of course, 7 hours is more than enough naturally, no wonder you waking up at that hour. Go to bed at midnight instead.
Chanticleer was a rooster in one of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, from the Middle Ages. Quite a fun story, actually.
And embrace the early rising. The world is a better place for having you sitting on the rail, legs over the side, coffee in hand, in the early morning sun, sharing that beautiful smile with all of us. Take a photo and let us all enjoy the moment.
