Ugh. Been there, done that. So not fun. Good luck and just take lots of dips in the water!
Fibreglass dust itches like crazy too
Oh gosh! Good luck!!! Hope you can treat yourselves to a wonderful diner afterwards.
It's that great feeling when it's all done and everything's been cleaned and put back in place again. You've showered off, a change of clothes and that 1st glass of wine as you watch the sunset....
Rent a fabulous room somewhere on the island till it is complete and back to your happiness quota!
uh.. Sounds miserable.
Grinding glass down below in 100 degrees? ouch! - been there, done that - a truly miserable job. Definitely pack everything off the boat first and do a VERY thorough cleanup afterwards to prevent the dreaded glass itch. A super long hot water shower after cleanup will help. But adding reinforcing stringers for an offshore passage is a very wise move. Good luck on the hard work - it will be worth it in rough seas.
