I'd say you're pretty much on target . . . gives us a taste of the adventure/lifestyle . . . pictures are great, a thousand words for those of us who haven't been yet ...
As a fellow sailor who is currently living aboard and getting our boat ready to hop across to the Caribbean next year, I read the blog for several reasons. The photos of the places you visit are inspirational because it makes me excited to untie the dock lines and GET MOVING. Your writing style is honest and intelligent. The FOOD - oh my goodness, I get hungry just looking at your meals, and they, too serve as inspiration in so many ways. I love the European attitude on food. Simply prepared with often basic ingredients but made with love and flair, and meant to be savored and enjoyed. I like reading about the sailing and maintenance because it's not nearly as technical and boring as some sailing blogs. I also like reading from a girl's point of view, things like wardrobe, storage, etc. because well, I'm a girl, too. You and Alex are both beautiful people, so it doesn't hurt to look at you guys. I think you've done a great job thus far with the blog, and I look forward to seeing the new direction you plan to take. Given your sense of overall style, I'm sure it will look and read as wonderful as ever. Thanks for the hard work you put into this blog, which brings a sense of adventure to thousands of readers all over the world!
Your experiences as real people in your various ports are very nice and set you apart from the more usual (and dare I say more realistic) litany of mechanical breakdowns and repairs that fill most sailing blogs.
Thanks for sharing your voyage and for the opportunity to comment.
I like the everything (I can do without the fashion stuff) My question is where do you store surfboards? I'm looking at a 52' now, but am puzzled where to store surfboards for a family of 4. I do love the photos.
Hello Taru & Alex,
I started reading your blog a couple of years ago, i think you had just arrived in the Caribbean.
what I like about your blog is the variety. I started reading your blog because I saw a article in yachting world/yachting monthly (can't remember which), I wont lie it was a picture of an attractive woman in a bikini on a boat which made me stop at that page, Taru ;-). As mentioned before however its the variety that keeps me reading, some pictures and post about the places you are visiting, then some about boat repair\sailing, maybe a touch on what is stressing you out and the challenges you are facing. It doesn't seem to me to be a sailing blog, or a fashion blog, a commercial blog, a bikini blog, or whatever. Its almost like you guys are letting us all read your journal, sometimes it seems very personal, so like the characters in a good book I/we/all your readers are invested in the story of Taru and Alex.
I think as long as you enjoy posting this blog the feeling and care that your put in to creating the posts and photos will come through, and we will all enjoy following your story.
Thanks for posting... looking forward to your next post
Neal
Bikinipics, absolutely. My motivation pictures!
Hello,
I'm happiest reading the travel side of your blog. The different destinations, the culture, ... It is via your blog that I learned more about the Caribean. Loved it.
Kind regards,
Barbara from Belgium
I love to see all the beautiful places you visit and your photography is stunning. I would probably follow you just for the photography, but your site combines great images with gorgeous tropical locations, my other passion. Thanks for the chance to dream a bit!
Wendy
I do like seeing the progress on the boat, but I also love your posts on food, fashion, the coastal scenes, and the local life as well. It is the mix of these things that makes your blog unique.
Of course you and Alex are beautiful people and I love seeing your photos, but in general you have a way of capturing a nice sample of everything about your journey, which makes the experience for me as a reader just that much richer.
I like seeing where you are, pictures of the places you're visiting. I also like details of your boat building/refit, etc. I'm refurbishing a boat so it gives me a different take on what you're doing and why. Seeing the interior of other people's boats also gives ideas for things I may want/need on mine.
Thank you for taking the time to post things :) Your blog is amazing.
I love reading about your adventures, even the little ones from simple days at sea or sand. Altogether it makes me feel as if I'm travelling with you, as these are your letters to me, the reader.
Taru, as you know from my posts previously, I really like some of the more technical and sailing stuff you guys put together. I would like to see more info on sailing (now that you are sailing again). You bring a lot of great insight into why we cruise, why we seek out new places. Love the photo essays on street life/food and hiking around. Thanks, and keep up the good woork!
I love seeing where you are in the world, the pictures/video of the area, food etc, its also great to see what you are doing boat maintenance wise.
Your trip is similar to something I would like to do in the future, keep up your great blog !!!
i really appreciate the simple, everyday posts- the ones where you describe what meals you've been cooking, what songs you've been listening to, etc. also love reading your more spiritual posts, i always find them enlightening and inspiring. besos!
I'm a male and while I do enjoy the boat building and sailing posts, I can't say I mind the photos of Taru either. I also enjoy the posts on the different food and drinks you encounter on your travels as that's also a passion of mine. Really sailing, eating, and drinking are what I enjoy in life so you're pretty much making me jealous on a daily basis (except for the fiberglass dust part).
Oh Taru! There are so many things I like about this blog. I cannot just pick one so I will list a few.
-Photography: Your carefully posed shots of you and Alex as well as the scenery shows us what we could be experiencing.
-Writing: Not too long usually and written with a pleasant style similar to your photos. You convey well that you don't seem to be effected much by what people say about you or your blog. Your topics are original and sometimes controversial which is a great reprieve from so many blogs. You also have a dry sense of humor that I love and can relate to.
-Fashion: You prove that you can be living on a sailboat, sweating into miserable puddles but somehow still manage to look wonderful. You inspire me in these areas.
I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about your site, you making money and whatever else but of all the sailing blogs I read this one is in my top favorites.
Looking forward to where this blog goes!
Oh, thats easy: Fashion, Beauty and beaches!
Love from Hamburg,
Molly
Bikinis and boats... enough said
I'm always coming back for the beautiful photos, as well as tidbits of information on the countries you've visited. As a fellow cruiser myself, it's wonderful to find out about a place before I go there, or even to possibly help me decide if I want to go there. Plus any trials and tribulations. It lets me know that I'm not alone when things go to hell and I'm sometimes wondering why I live this lifestyle. (But then again your photos give me hope of great things around the corner)
Best blog bits -
The food you serve on board the boat.
Visiting places in the countries you visit.
You guys planning your route.
Boat maintenance, your man is one skilled dude.
Bikini shots :)
Worst bits -
Wanting you to get on with the trip and get to the pacific.
Seeing the wonderful hotels you get to stay in and being completely jealous.
Things I would change-
Not much but more pictures. Don't like the one picture updates - i know its tough with internet but short blog posts are too much of a tease.
Keep up the fab work!
Simon
I like pretty much everything you do but the photography is amazing! Of you guys, what you're doing, and the places you visit. Don't cut out all the pics of you guys as it helps us get to know you without ever meeting you. Thanks for all the work you do as we live part of our lives thru you two.
Well, for me, all of it. I enjoy reading and viewing all about your life experiences on this great adventure. They eye candy is great, but you also have a talent for showcasing the best of the places you visit. How do you function, day to day? What is it like being on watch alone while Alex is sleeping? What do you think/dream about? How is the boat sailing now, with all the work you have put into it? Who have you met along the way that has enriched your lives? I own my own ketch, but really enjoy reading of your experiences. Keep it up. -Bill
I think you have the mix of content about right. Food, lifestyle, fashion and boat projects. If I keep coming back to read it, it's working for me. The only thing I would consider changing/adding is a little more about the sailing, sea state and decisions made to make the best of the conditions.
I would also like to hear some of the history of the boat. She's an unusual ship.
I check you blog daily and read all the entries. I live aboard cruised full time for 2 years with my wife and kids - now back working and missing it.
What I like -
1. Great pictures of a beautiful woman wearing classy stuff in gorgeous settings. I in NO WAY see this as self-promotion in a negative way. You are a professional model. You get paid to promote stuff through sexy photos in beautiful settings. There is nothing negative about that at all and you should not let anyone tell you otherwise. If people are PAYING you to do it - then it is a PROFESSION. So be proud of it. It shows talent in photography and marketing.
2. Boat Projects - with lots of pictures. I have done total refits of sailboats from one end to the other and I enjoy seeing the progress of others.
3. MORE video. Do interviews with other cruisers and colorful locals and featuring neat local things you do. The video content is always fun.
Remember this - when it comes to internet marketing, controversy drives clicks and clicks mean traffic and that is what your sponsors want. So every time you get some stupid hate mail about the bikini pictures or showing some skin - be happy because while the few may not like it the buzz around it is nothing but good.
Terry
I think your blog is beautiful as it is. I'm partly jealous of what you're doing, partly relieved it isn't me that's going through those hard refits :) One question: What responsibility do you have towards your advertisers? Can you just remove the banners as you wish or what's the deal with them? Just curious. Thanks for a beautiful blog, it inspires me daily.
I love your photography.....not to mention you are living my dream. :)
The boat maintenance is informative for sure, but Alex is a bit more ambitious than we are in rebuilding your boat so it's mainly for admiration. The eye candy, in spite of your concerns about excess, is welcome (yes, we girls love to look at pics of Alex). Your photography of cruising locations is mind stimulation at its best, but my main reason for reading is your insightful observations about the cruising life and the change and development in your character as a result of your experiences. I appreciate your willingness to be honest, providing both the good and the bad for us to digest. So many sponsored blogs fall into the rut of only providing the good stuff out of the fear of losing their sponsors. We hope to meet you out there some day and share a sundowner.

I love the posts about fishing at sea and what you prepare with the catch.
Also, photos within the towns and cities you visit. More photos of street corners, shop owners and characters within the places you go would really continue to provide context and colour for all your travels.
Keep it up and continue taking all of the beautiful photos of your adventures!
The best things to me about the blog are pictures of gorgeous things (Places, Views, Food, Boats, People, Projects) and the stories of travel to places that I want to visit. If I'm not really up for reading it's a nice place to com, look at pictures, and just zone out from the day for a little while.

yes, I am a guy and I enjoy the boating maintenance comments, but I also enjoy seeing photos of the places you visit. It helps me get through this long dreary winter.
As someone who wants to do what you are doing someday, I enjoy information on what you've learned form your experience - tips, mistakes, opinions, etc. on everything from the boat to lifestyle (everyday living) to places you've visited. Basically, what works for you and what doesn't, what you've enjoyed and what you haven't. It's nice to see how different people take on cruising. I'd love to see more tips and ideas for wanna-be cruisers. Definitely don't be afraid of showing some negativity towards things that deserve it. I love to hear about the good, the bad, and the ugly. Oh, and lots of photos. LOVE your beautiful photos! (especially the scenery and boat)
The main reason I visit your blog is becuase it is updated almost everyday of the year. Whenever I look at it there is something new and interesting to see and the photography is wonderful.
Dear Taru and Alex:
1 You are fulfilling my and my wife’s dream we can’t afford ourselves for now.
2 I like you are sailing couple. So we are. But we are seasonal sailors sailing summer in the Baltic and occasionally (spring and autumn) in Mediterranean. Daily dose of real ocean action, helps a lot winter time.
I also like to read adrenaline based regatta reports and or knowledge based yacht forums. But... it takes more time ... And …you are different:
3 I like your women point of view. That helps me understand my wife. My wife better understand women’s needs on long time ocean sailing.
4 You efforts are continues, systematic and creates addiction.
Tauras & Ilona
Love the photos and commentary. Fashion, food, and locations are hypnotic. Refreshing to see style, beauty, and class to a place I had relegated to a spring break playground and home of the frumpy drunken tourist. ....Sailboat racing, bike rides, salsa dance places, hiking trails, 5k runs..this is stuff my wife and I enjoy. Thanks for sharing your favorite places.
Skål.
I'm male, so as you said, I like the information about boat construction/repair. However, my favorite parts are the cruising stories, such as how you arrived into port with a broken steering chain, saw dolphins along the way, or caught a shark when looking for dinner. The photography is beautiful, and the swimsuit pictures help too!
Bonjour Taru,
Let me be the first one to share something with you guys!. Your personal writing style is very attractive. This combined with the beautiful images is cool. It gives me a feeling that you are almost friends however we never actually met. Your sailing trail is attractive to follow and the way you describe normal things is live makes it easy to read. I would say it's almost a real-live-soap story but than with the right vibe ;-)
Is this helpful?
Bye, bye KIM
I love your blog, but how can you continue making money on it without the banners??
Just as long as you stay in the pics, the other content is irrelevant. :-)
I love photo heavy posts, seeing where you are, what you're doing people you meet, i love recipe posts, i just love reading about your adventures and a little escape from my daily life into the wonderful adventures of yours :)
I love reading your insights into life onboard and the technicalities of the sailing you do, like in 'From Santa Marta to Cartagena.' Learning about places I've never heard of from a 'real' human perspective always keeps me coming back to your blog too, as does the great photography of course. More of this please! (Though really, anything that's an honest window to someone else's world is interesting).
I think you're a fantastic photographer and I love the blog for the pictures of all the beautiful places I have never been, it gives a great insight to exotic countries and I've never really seen a travel blog which looks as professional as this one, It's also fun to just track the journey you're making, there's always new things to find out it's a great blog xxx
I like passage accounts and videos/photos of the sailing part... Boat building, fixing, new ideas etc.
I like your blog!
Tim
Ps. Regards from Finland.
My favorite posts of yours are those where you discuss the practicalities of your life on a boat and those where you tell us about the places you visit. Also, I like your occasional reflections about what it means (for you) to live the life you live right now.
Format-wise I prefer posts somewhere between 200 and 500 words. I think you need at least 200 words to write something meaningful, but more than 500 words almost seems like work to me.
Whatever you decide to do, however: thanks for this wonderful blog!
I look at this blog almost every day and appreciate many of its qualities. The photos are beautiful, your perspectives on your life and this journey (photos and written) are refreshing in their honesty, and the technical chronicles of the boat refurbishments are very interesting.
Years ago, I was a professional sailor so I am acutely aware of the challenges and the excitement that can be encountered while traveling on the sea and to new places. You've done an excellent job conveying the beauty of your journey through your keyboard and lens in a simple, yet profound way.
Thanks! Keep it up!
I love seeing photos and hearing about the places you visit. I love the day to day occurances of life on a boat. I love your style and also your opinions/reflections on various topics. I love seeing photos of the boat, scenery, different resorts. I love when you post recipes! I love reading your blog as a fun, alternate reality, a life so vastly different from mine that I find very intriguing. All I know is I can never wait to see the next post!
I love seeing photos and hearing about the places you visit. I love your recipe posts. I love photos of scenery, different resorts, the boat, parties, restaurants and bars, etc. I love your opinion/reflections posts. I look forward to a new post very much! I like reading the blog mainly because I find your lifestyle very interesting and exciting, such a fun alternate world to be able to get a glimpse of!
What draws me most to this blog is the sense of adventure and ----- that comes with a journey like yours. About 2 years ago I had the sudden idea that I would like to circumnavigate the globe one day so I starting scouring the internet on this subject. It didn't take me long to find your site and when I did I ended up reading every blog post from the very first one. I very much enjoy reading about the different destinations you visit and what your thoughts and impressions are of them.
Probably what draws me to your blog over others are two things. First the layout and photography featured on your site are beautiful. You have a natural eye for aesthetics and it very much shows in your photos and how you present your site.
Second, I really like the fact that you also write about the not so pleasant side of your journey and some of the hardships which you have faced. I think it really helps the readers to identify with both of you and shows that even though you may be a world apart you are human just like the rest of us.
Overall I think your blog is fantastic and look forward to each new post so keep it up! Also I have to say that your hair looks like a hot mess not a fucking mess. A big difference in a good way.
You are an inspiration to me as I would love to do what you two do, in the future. This blog has become an addiction to me and always anxious to find your next post. Sometimes disappointed when it's all about boats and renovation :(
Then some questions>>>>>
Could you let me know where your lovely shoes are from? And those cute pink shorts? Love the shirt too.
How do you find it fashion-wise, to be in places like the Caribbean or South America. Do they have the regular shops and brands there, and do you find it interesting with the local fashion?
Thanks for a great blog, keep it up!
I like the short videos and the conversations about the logistics of it all. The more photos, the better. Overall, if you can maintain this pace and quality, you will have created a phenomenal record of your journey. Thank you - it is a delight to read.
PS: Moving to Dubai with my family later this year - - hope we have a slightly better experience than it sounds like you had. Ryan
The best are the pictures of your boat, either sailing or the refit job.
I would appreciate some stories about how you planify the trips, and the trip itself.
In addition, i will appreciate some pictures about the spots you anchor.
To sumarize, I would like to see more technical information.
Hope this information can be useful.
Regards from Barcelona,
Oleguer
Hey Taru, I've been following you and Alex on this blog since you departed on Caos to cross the Atlantic! I actually can't beleive that was 2 yrs ago? Good lord! Anyway, change is always good but here is what not to ditch:
Plans! We all have them but ours are dreams and you and Alex execute them... I'm always curious as to whats next.
Duende! Such a sexy boat but soo much work... the latest set of pics and Alex's abilities to put her back together is fantastic to watch!
You!... I've been sailing for 20 years of my life and I'm extremely pationate about it but you are by far the sexiest sailor I've come accross so yeah sorry to say please dont do away with the sexy Taru pics!! Alex has great taste in both boats and ladies!
Looking forward to any changes you make ! Peace!
Hi! I love your blog and I've put you on my 'blogs of the month' - you can read it here!
Okay here goes.
The best part of the blog is the 'raw honesty' of all the participants (whether it is you or Alex or the commentators). I think my intial interest was sparked by Alex's lack of interest in explaining the technical size of boat construction, modification, operation, maintenance, etc.
Your ability to capture his 'disinterestedness' was fascinating to me and your attempts to explain his efforts was proof positive that you realize that while indeed many people log in and follow the blog because of the beauty of your photography, story telling and yes, your body, we are also interested in the challenges of making 300 moveable square feet of floatable material safe and perhaps even pleasurable.
I think many of us recognize that the blog is one way to cling to the hard and the social heterogeneity that makes land/city/urban life unique. Social isolation weighs on us all and I always thought that part of the reason for the blog was your attempt to remind yourself that your personal narrative/story/journey is a shared adventure (at the very least I assume that your sponsors have recognized the 'shared' aspect of your adventures). My guess is that Alex is more comfortable with the 'escape' mentality that sailing offers.
A couple of final thoughts: Bikini photos excite and attract viewers but well crafted stories entertain us, make us dream, make us think. I visit the site because both you and Alex (and at times others) have proven to be interesting 'characters'. To be honest, I wish I knew a bit more about what was 'going on in Alex's head' (i.e. does he swear alot when he is working? Does he complain about sail conditions? Does he like the longish layovers in harbours? Does he actually contribute to the musical playlists? Would he hug Tommy Hilfiger or whould he prefer to punch him in the face? Has he threatened to through you overboard? and so on). Of course, it is his (and your right) to keep his character private, but I think the 'desire for change' is likely rooted to how your characters are 'growing/sailing' together or perhaps drifting apart. You used to write about 'us' (meaning you and Alex) and now you tend to write about places and other people. Now when you write about what is happening on the boat it tends to be a more personal reflection and less a story about a couple making their way.
Taru, I've followed your blog from the beginning and I have loved it! I enjoy watching your adventures through your pictures and posts. As far as what I would like to see from this blog, I think more pictures per post would be nice like minimum 2 or 3. Your photography is beautiful and you really do a great job capturing the beautiful places that you have been. That being said, from reading all of the above posts I think it's clear that the majority of us really enjoy the beautiful/sexy fotos of yourself. Keep up the great work!
I love your blog! I have to agree with most of the suggestions asking for more pictures. You don't have to post many just more so we can see as much of what you get to experience on your journey as possible in small pictures.
I especially enjoy the posts about food and about exploring your surroundings.
twentyproblems.blogspot.ca
Both you and Alex have wonderful photography skills, it would be nice to see more videos, however i know that may be limited by the internet bandwidth.
I would have to say places you visit posts exp small businesses like restaurants and stalls etc also your thoughts love reading those , and food and drinks you are enjoying from different corners of the world .

I enjoy coming back to your side and just read about everything that is happening in your life. It's like a little vacation for my mind... I really like the content of this blog the way it is with all it's variety.
Wish you all the best!!!
I love reading about the sailing experience. It was also nice to read your recap about which islands were your favorites and the overall feel you got from them. I would maybe like to see some more details about prices moorings, marinas, and customs. For those of us with no sailing experience but with aspirations to do so, it's nice to see those sort of things so we know what to expect and how realistic our dreams are.
Hello,
It must be very difficult to balance your life and keep up with the blog everyday. Your hard work shows with such a great blog. You have such an eye with the camera for creating beautiful pictures and videos. And a wonderful writing style of the travels and insights into your world. If you wrote ebooks of all your destinations they would sell well. Cut out whatever you're bored with but please don't loose your your passion for photography and writing style.
Hi Taru and Alex,
I normally wouldn't comment but since you asked.....Your blog is great way to escape from a sometimes dreary, everyday life. Your blog is inspiration for me to pursue my own adventures and it keeps in focus, the priorities that are truly improtant in my life.
Your photos are fanatastic and it would be nice to see more of them (I agree with some previous comments). Your writing is also very well done (I like the honesty). The combination of the two give the reader, the feel and flavour of the places that you two are visiting, so cudos!
Coming from the perspective of person who is interested in sailing in the future...it would be nice to see a little more of Alex's work to improve Duende. I loved the Bulkhead up post.
Keep up the great work and don't let the internet trolls get you down. They're just jealous ;)
I love the pics of the beaches. I find them inspiring to getaway. I'm also a big foodie, so any info on local dishes you eat, favorite restaurants etc...especially places off the beaten path and great food not found in necessarily high end restaurants.
http://hunterstraveltales.wordpress.com/
I enjoy the photography of course, but its mostly your thoughts and writing about the lifestyle and the cultures you visit. I found the piece you wrote about the Caribbean people (once you left) very interesting and revealing. I'm a male but I'm looking for something different in a sailing blog and that what I find in yours. I can get boat maintenance stories from all the other sailing blogs if I want it. I do like hearing about the new boat and what your doing to it but I'm not looking for technical articles on the projects just a few pictures for time to time is enough.
I have always loved to see what you come up with in the galley. We are moving on our boat full time next month and i need ideas! :-)
Your pictures are really nice. You write really well.
It does not hurt that both you and Alex are two beautiful and sexy human beings.
I would like to mention that the thing I think is really necessary for me to come back over and over again is that you write every single day, even more than once.
Your blog is one of the little candies of my everyday life. Like a good espresso after lunch. You can't do without it.
I would like to know more about what Alex is doing with the boat ... the whole renovation project is extremely interesting.
I first thought too much boat stuff would kill the blog but with Taru's filter on it (i.e. gorgeous pictures and nice spontaneous text) even the boat stuff fits the concept and is nice. So ... please bring more.
Overall ... it is a great blog, like a very good espresso, difficult to find!
Paolo
Hi guys!
My partner and I are looking to purchase a boat and do something similar before the end of the year.
We are based in Australia so the pacific is probably our first port of call before heading up into the Mediterranean.
As a female, the cooking and seeing how you stay fit is great however my man loves seeing the boat, fishing, surfing and project side of it.
We would like to see more info on maybe the harbours/marinas you stay in and perhaps more about the cost of actually making sailing the world work.
Kindest,
Jamee

Another male who likes boatbuilding and maintenance here!
But I also like the thoughtful stuff too - for example, your post on racism in the Carribbean was very interesting. I guess if I'd thought about it, I might have imagined some of that, but of course, I never did think about it. So your post was an eye-opener, and very thought provoking.
The variety is good, so don't stop mixing it up.
Thanks!
R.
Dear Taru,
I first learned about your blog a couple months ago thanks to my dad, who purchased his first sail boat and began sailing about four years ago. He loves the idea of sailing around the world, which is probably what first attracted him to your blog. The reason I keep coming back is simply because of the beauty in it; the photos, the writing, the inspiration, the originality. One of the very first posts I read while exploring your blog was the one titled "bitter". It was so inspiring to me that I find myself coming back and reading through it whenever I feel a loss of direction in my life. You are such a strong, admirable woman; something I strive to be. I think it's safe to say that you have, and continue to touch many peoples lives by sharing your own life through this blog. So thank you (:
Sincerely,
Alexis
Hello,
1. I love the pictures; they tie into your text very well and really give a sense of your personality.
2. I am planning to sail around the world too, so all your tips on the maintenance and less glamorous side of sailing is very valuable.
3. Love seeing you two have fun and adventures when you are in port.
4. Would love more pictures of your crossings. I know that it's not always realsitic given conditions you can encounter.
5. Love your take on life and how taking to sailing instead of life on terra firma has changed how you think and feel about the world and living a simpler life.
6. I love fashion, so sprinkle those in their too!
Thanks again for the wonderful blog!
Your faithful follower,

Hola Taru & Alex;

I posted earlier and would like to add one thing: what I most enjoy about your blog is that you post what YOU want to post. This makes your writing and photographs very passionate and honest and, therefore, extremely interesting and authentic.
However, as this blog generates income for you, you certainly must deliver what your 'customers' want to read and to see. Fortunately, authenticity and meeting the needs of one's market don't have to be mutually exclusive, so I'm sure you'll blend the two quite well.
Thanks again!
LOVE your pictures, I think you're a great photographer. Content wise, I enjoy reading about your take on life, your experiences, and how you view the world. Our outlook is pretty similar so I always find those posts rather interesting to read :)
Hi...1st comment but have read from day 1.Love your photos and insight into everyday life in all the new places you visit. Keep up the goodness of this blog please.
My favorite part of your blog is the photography.
I also like reading about your philosophy on life. You don't sugar coat things - you keep it real.
I love the photos, the food but most of all your simple honesty, the way you open yourself up. And despite the fashion/glamour/tommy hilfiger u both seem very humble. Truly impressed with the number of followers u have. I'd like to hear more about provisioning, food storage and if you've had any trouble with weavils etc when buying in bulk, mainly because that's my responsibilities.
I only hope that one day you make it to the Andamans and by that time we'll be sailing ourselves and learn first hand from your experiences and maybe learn something about India/indian cooking from us.All the best
I've never commented before, but you said I should, so here I go. I really like reading your lifestyle posts. What you guys get up to, from little things to the big adventures. Lots of pictures of you on the adventures but also of your surroundings. For me it's the personal details that make it interesting, I don't mean sharing the things you want to keep private, I mean when you share your thoughts on things or pictures of how much fun you had in a certain place. I hope that makes sense.
Love your blog!

As fellow adventures, we look forward to the stories of your travels. I find your blog more interesting than other backpacker/ honeymoon travel blogs because you have really committed to a life of adventure and exploration rather than just tasting it for several months. Taking the risk to actually move your whole life away from home is very different than adventuring for a bit. I respect this in you all and even more so since you are doing it at sea!
We look forward to more stories of Colombia!

The boat, rework, navigation, costs etc - great blog! Please keep it up!
you're doing what I'd kill to do, so keep up and enjoy! cheers,
L
I love the sailing part of things. The route you are taking around the world, the things you see and the experiences you have. I am hoping to learn something from it, for when we start our adventure.
The photos and the culture of the places you go to are amazing. It just makes me more eager!
Reading about any tips you have, and the things that can go wrong, but overcome is great.
I tend to skip over the emotional outbursts (unless they are part of an overall larger post about the sailing/travel side of things). I think it brings personality to the blog, and can't be avoided when you post almost daily, but it's not something I'm overly interested in.
I do look forward to your arrival in the South Pacific! Can't wait to read about it.
I'd also be interested a bit more in the places Alex goes surfing, and other water activities.
Hi!
First time commenting here.
To be fair, i cant really fault your blog.
These banners you speak of -i havent actually seen (Probably because i'm reading via the bloglovin app!) So dont feel bad for it, those of us that dont want target ads find ways around things :-)
I love your blog for the following reasons.
Content.
You mix it up.
Some long posts, some short.
Each post is different-whether it's food, travel or DIY.
It's a glimpse into a life we might not ever of known so thankyou for sharing.

Take care you guys!

Your photos are the best part! LOVE them!!!!
I hope I'm not too late to the show! I really enjoy reading about what you cook. I'm amazed by what you can make in a boat kitchen! I also love seeing pictures of the cities you visit; it's nice to see what everyday life is like in other parts of the world.
Thanks for sharing your life and journey!
