Lovely and very inviting.
Taru, what kind of paint did you use? I'm curious if it's an epoxy paint since you are so close to it all the time.
I'm happy for you that your refit is progressing. How difficult to try to live amongst fiberglass and wood shavings.
Hey Dani, we use an Alkyd urethane paint, no epoxy into it. It was painted some ten days ago so should be safe to sleep there now.
I see you guys are also so very busy on your boat. Only 21 months to go now!
Hey Taru,
totally unrelated to this post but as you have grown up and travelled all over europe I was wondering if there are any places you really recommend? I'm planning on going all over europe and would like some neat/ non tourist spots to visit/stay.
Your information on finland would be awesome, and anything else :)
thanks so much!!

Fantastic news on the bunk Taru.
Five foot by just over five foot is fairly compact though, how tall are you both? Is the bunk fore and aft or athwartships?
Sleeping afloat is very important as a poor night's sleep leaves tired seafarers, which is not a good thing.
With this in mind and that you will probably be in the tropics for some time, have you got space for a small portable A.C. unit that could keep the bedroom cool for those hot and sticky nights in the marina?
I can't wait to see your photos of the finished product, you must be very proud of Alex....He's a machine!!
Oh wow it looks SO cozy now!!! Love the colors you picked. A comfy bed is my #1 priority when traveling.
