Hard for me to imagine how he can work for extended periods in that heat, but perfection now will pay off in peace of mind later. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers!
Alex is doing the right thing. If he knows something is not 100% and he can improve it now, he will have 100% confidence in the boat next time somewhere when it gets tough...I would do exactly the same. And now that he is in the swing of things why not complete the job. The carbon fiber reinforcement looks great.
Kind regards,
Tim
That work is messy, smelly, and dirty, but Alex is doing a beautiful job. Yet I can only imagine doing it while living on the boat. Hang in there you guys, and before you know it, it'll be done and your beautiful boat...home will stiff and strong and everything will have been more than worth the effort and suffering.
you guys are doing great. Just keep reminding yourself this all jsut temporary and for the benefit of being able to cross the pacific and get to those beautiful waters of the south pacific.
Taru,
I admire Alex; he's doing a proper job and is building a vessel that will look after you both when the shit (inevitably) hits the fan one day.
I'm sure you're very proud of him.

Wow, it's going to be like having a brand new boat. Great work Alex
Taru,
I promise you will love this boat when it is all said and done.
That is why Alex is being soo meticulous.
He wants not only a fine boat, but you to be happy as well...
