im a new reader and thinks that the journey you guys have ahead of you sounds amazing!

it would be really interesting to see some pictures from the installation of all the things you need for your around the world trip!

Taru: Hopefully your sponsors are helping somewhat with the cost of replacing all of the electronics, rigging, lifelines, solar panels and such. Otherwise, Ouch!

We have been blessed to receive some great discounts on our electronics, life raft and solar panels from our local Accastillage Diffusion, and discount on some smaller original parts from Hallberg Rassy so we can't complain too much. But even though, this journey is a life time investment for us so we will more or less put in almost everything we own into this project and have agreed on that we want the best for the (only?) time we have a chance to go on a journey like this. We believe that there will always be more money to make out there if we have to, but for now: This is the life we want to live and we want to make sure to do the absolute best of it! If you are not happy about the way Spain works why don't go back to your country?

Of course there's always good and bad in every country. Also in our home countries. We could never be blessed with such great weather as you guys have over here, that's one reason why we love it.. So even though Northern Europe is more organized, it is not pleasant to live in. We're still searching for the ultimate place. That's one of the reasons we're planning our long journey.

I think there is Manana mentality all over the world if you have bad luck. Not less not more anywere. Maybe the speed of service is slower in HOT countries since human work worse when its hot. And specially when it´s vacation time in companies with less staff working.
