All I can say after a brief scan of the comments is that there are some neurotic people on the net and no matter what you do they will find fault with it.
Blog/sail on.
Lots of desk sailors throwing rocks and people who are sailing.
Armchair sailors...wannabe cruisers....dreamers who will NEVER find the courage or the strength to do what you are doing.
Real cruisers don't give a shit what those types think. Let them wallow in their failure while you get out and enjoy the cruising life.
By the way, the cruising community needs more sexy!

Just to let you know you ARE inspirational in som many ways and reading your blogs make me realize that I CAN do my DREAM travels just need to let go of the safety line!

I finally took the time to read through your remaining thread on that forum and your blog here. I do apologize for those CF members who do not appreciate your blog - I find it wonderful! Even I felt inspired reading about your adventures so far and sensing the eagerness to begin the trip evident in your early entries. I have set a "bookmark" to you home page since my wife and I may be cruising in the Med in a few more years.
I also apologize for rude CF members and I won't be asking for their forgiveness - It's why I don't post in that forum.
Good for you Taru, for staying above the fray, their snide comments put the bullseye squarely where it belongs, on the "aggrieved".
