What a wonderful blog you have. A real readers paradise. Reading it is as nice as sailing a Hallberg Rassy.
I'm very much looking forward to read your adventures. I wish you fair winds and patience with all final preparations. Do it the real Rassy way with an eye for detail. You will never regret this approach.
Looking forward to travel with you.

It won't be long now hang in there. BTW we may leave Gibraltar this Friday and not next Monday 11/1 if the winds and sea state are as predicted. In which case we will try to catch up with you in the Canaries.
Just a little comment about the Inmarsat things. Was at one of their conferences earlier this year. They mentioned a story about how some guy on an off-shore drilling platform had downloaded a porn flick. Cost, $ 40.000,=. Go slow with the fleet!
Looking forward to all the posts as you start. Good seas to you both!
Great blog, but I had to smile with you describing 16 degrees as cold :)
I have great memories of Barcelona, but I woke up this morning with 5 cms snow on the ground, and it is going down to -10 C tomorrow.
I would LOVE to have 16 C!
-10 c is torture Andy!!! But it can be really beautiful with snow, of course.
Leo: That was some very expensive entertainment, I wonder who had to pay for it in the end? We'll stay away from Youporn as much as we can, I promise!
