Shantaram!! Great read. One of these books that you find one in a decade.
Fair winds and safe passage!!
Good luck to you both in your biggest to date jaunt out into the Atlantic.
Also waiting for the hurricanes to go away on the Canaries is a Dutch girl, Laura Dekker. She's on a solo sailingtrip around the world in an attempt to be the youngest girl to do that.
Maybe nice to look her up and see how she's doing. The Dutch press is kind of ignoring her it seems.
The nearest marina to Casablanca is at Mohammedia.

Hey T & A
Its very cold and snowy where I am
right now...43 39 N 79 23 W and on the hard.
But I saw your most excellent selection of reading material
and it warmed my frozen heart.
I have done some passage making myself and I have a couple more good reads for you....
1/The Water In Between: A Journey at Sea by Kevin Patterson
2/ The Pillars of Hercules by
Paul Theroux
Fair Winds
RR/"Zingara"
Those books are really a great read. nice to hear that you are enjoying yourselves eventhough you're sleep deprived. Well, once your journey is over, then you can sleep all you want but in the meantime enjoy and be safe.
Tongan group sounds interesting. Just let us know when you will be around our location in the world and we should def meet and discuss the philosophies of Hesse.
Thanks Richard for the book tips, will check them out.
