I believe this is a Lizardfish (Synodus sechurae). Yes I am a fish geek :)

Looks like a piranha with those razor sharp teeth!
Its a Preachers Dick, or Lizard Fish they taste like alligator if you can get around the bones.

Hard to tell without seeing its side and markings a bit better. If it is a red lizzardfish, it would have a small dark spot just behind the tip of its nose. If it is a sand diver it should have a dark spot on the back of its gillplate. Sand Diver is typically up to 14 inch, and is the most common of the lizzardfish family in the Carribean.
About as ugly as a fish can get. WOW.
