very sporty, but not good eating

bonefish... not very good for eating... you guys every going to stop in the bahamas? I live there and I hope to one day sail around the world with my girlfriend...

Exactly right. This is a bonefish. Awesome fighting fish but as mentioned not a good fish to eat. I was told while in the baham,as that the locals beat these fish with a club or mallet then squeeze the meat out like a tube of tooth paste. I think they may have just been fucking with me but congrats on the catch these are actually not the easiest fish to catch.

haha jesse! i'm bahamian and have never heard anything like that... i know of some people that eat them and say the meat is extremely sweet, but i've never tried them... they put up a great fight though!
