Is it easy to avoid that when you are at sea?
Greetings,
Filip
yikes! cuidado! hope you stay safe. RAD picture, too.
TOrnados... I saw a few over Corsica yesterday.
On my first and only sailing trip we had perfect weather. And even then i felt that waves are too big already. No way I would like to ever meet this storm. Hope you avoid it too.
I picked up from Twitter that you were becalmed with 150n miles to go on the 17th. Hopefully you got some wind and you're there by now. Tried to follow you on SpotWalla but there's no new data, have you stopped using it?. Powerful looking weather in those photos, by the way. Safe sailing.
Hi, wow! The weather condtions out on the sea can change so quickly! Im loving your blog and the pictures you are taking. A real inspiration.
In John Caldwell's "Desperate Voyage" he sails right into one intentionally. They are not as bad as believed ... at least that's what he found. I wouldn't try it. He ended on settling Palm Island in the Grenadines where you are headed. Great story ... check it out.
