For some people a cruise with between 1,000 - 5,000 other people, depending on the size of the ship, is the only way to have a holiday. If it's Monday it's this port, if it's Tuesday it's that port - all day excursions and hurry back to the ship etc etc. Good luck if you like that.
Me? No thanks. I'll have the beach with some serious choices to consider, e.g what T-Shirt to wear later on for dinner, you know stressful stuff like that..... :)

You should have seen in Venice when we were there a couple of weeks ago - four of these monsters in the same small harbour.

An ex dragged me on a cruise years ago, and it was everyhing I expected: crowded, noisy, and anything but relaxing. That's no way to vacation!
