I've recently discovered Boscia B.B. Cream - it is HEAVENLY and perfect for the boat. It's a primer, tinted moisturizer, sunscreen, skin firming lotion all in one. On days when we are getting off the boat to go to dinner, or to a party, I put a little on, dust a little powder or bronzer, and my face looks as though I'm wearing foundation, but without the heavy feel of makeup. It's my new makeup must-have.
I love the EA 8-hour lip balm, and all of the 8-hour stuff in general!
Another of my favorite that works well for our lifestyle as well is the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing lotion, I use it as an every day face moisturizer...
Seems like we are going to arrive too late to see you in the Caribbean, but there is some talk of Pacific on our side so we might see you on another ocean next year... Hope you guys are doing well!
Nathalie
Melody: I never heard of Boscia B.B. before, sounds great.
Nath: Oh that old classic, Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing lotion.. I might get that one too as the one from Estée Lauder contains a bit of perfume, and I believe Clinique's doesn't? We hope to see you guys in Pacific next year!
P.S: Your link to your blog doesn't work Nathalie when I click your profile picture. Maybe it's the point, otherwise you must change in the settings to "profile visible for public" or something like that..
This was precisely the answers I'd been searching for. Amazing blog. Incredibly inspirational! Your posts are so helpful and detailed. The links you feature are also very useful too. Thanks a lot :)
Oh my goodness, T, you have GOT to try my partners cosmetic range from French Polynesia - it's heaven.
Looks to nm elke you can order the JPG Fragile on Amazon.
Thanks so much for this post. I'm about to go leave my New York City life behind for life on a sailboat with my boyfriend and have been curious about how I should adjust my beauty routine. I have a feeling I'll be relying on Dove Beauty Bars a lot more heavily as they're great for face and body. Thanks for all the tips!
I gave up all the "beauty" products. I've been using only occasionally coconut oil for dry skin and mineral cosmetics very very infrequently. My skin is better than it's ever been in my life. I just turned 38. I'm afraid at this point based on my experience I'd say most of the beauty care products are wonderfully marketed, unnecessary ways for companies to get my money.
Love the LV makeup bag!!!
It's probably in the other post coming up but what sun lotion do you use for your face? I've been thinking about this a lot lately, because since you use it everyday it must be something that's not the least bit oily and doesn't clog your pores (which is exactly the problem I've always had with my sun lotions...).
