Qué rica esa comida!

Hola Amigos!
Si de carne se trata, nada mejor que Uruguayan or Argentinian meat:
Un buen BIFE de Chorizo ( argentinian´s most tastefull steak ) o un buen Ojo de Bife ( Rib eye steak) or just a plain rib steak with the bone!!!
The taste of this meat is something you´ll never forget after you tried...
As far as the French fires (Papas Fritas here) some old grandma some time ago taught to me that after you peel off the potatoes you put them in the fridge/freezer until they get quite cold, just before you pan fry them!
They are really crispy like she makes them and wonderful flavor if you make them with a mix of Oil and Animal fat...
The Salad " Criolla" ( Mean Creole) that we usually eat with meat or asado is a Mix of Red Pepper / Green pepper / Onion / and Tomato all squared cut in small dices and well mixed with nice olive oil.
Just a way an Argie or Gaucho way of doing this same dish!!!
Felices Pascuas!

PS:Just let me know if you are coming into this place or any closer to Montevideo or Punta del Este or even further into the Rio de La Plata to Colonia or
Buenos Aires
Uruguay is a nice & quiet place to hang around for a while... visiting the Sea side and traveling inside the country yard land of the Gauchos.

AMEN on the french fries - love home made ones!
If you have paprika, that goes really well on the fries prior to cooking. Delish!
Those fries look SO good!!!!!
