Perhaps you could add Antonioni's Avventura ? A long beautiful movie to watch on a boat and nice title for your own trip.
Yes, thanks for reminding. Would then need the rest of the avventura triolgi as well? la notte and the third one.
Antonioni's Blowup is already here.
"2001" is really worth having (a ship is a ship whether in space or on the ocean).
By the way all Kubrick's are valuable, as well as Werner Herzog (pick up those featuring Klaus Kinski) and Peter Greenaway movies...
Have a nice trip!

Don't forget Bergman.
Don't forget "Blue Horizons" by Beth Leonard

Where did you buy your tea from? a local store or a chain like "The des Palais"? Just curious since I remember seeing these "chinese" decorated tins at my grand mother while I lived in France.
Thanks for all tips guys. Bergman and Kubrick is already on the list, will check out the others too. Never seen 2001 by the way, looking forward to it.
The tea is from a Spanish chain called "The Tea Store" - they have some good stuff and also the tins are from them.
You have a rather scary amount of glassware. I sure hope it isn't real glass.
Some of it is glass but mostly hard plastic. The glassware is carefully stored in boxes with bubble wrap.
It's funny to read these comments from people insinuating that you are incompetent (WHAT?? Are you using REAL glass on a boat??!!). It's almost as when other parents tell you what to do with your baby. I'd say: they are jealous, just ignore them ;)
I am not in the slightest bit jealous Anonymous. I already have a boat thank you very much and it is both bigger than theirs and has so far taken me to lots of far away countries.
Amongst my food and drink vessels there is not a single item of glass.
Glass is dangerous.
I think it is not fair to dismiss all critics for being jealous, it is incorrect. Although I am sure that there's a bunch of people somehow thinking that their way is the right way.
We love constructive criticism as well as good feedback and new ideas/tips. But obviously we're not listening too much on criticism that has no substance.
TWT: Yes, "jealous" might not be the correct term.
Love your blog, your style, and those glasses are beautiful!
Merci!
We were also thinking of getting a couple of some very delicate porcelain cups for the tea. They are very vulnerable but the joy of drinking tea from them is much stronger than the fear of having them getting destroyed so we're willing to take the risk.
The same thing with the smoking, Sav, I do know it is dangerous to smoke, therefore I do it very rarely, but still I can't for my life imagine having a wonderful glass of Cabernet Sauvignon without having a puff of a cigarette. We're just all different people in need of different things. /T
Good idea! I have these in white (snow) and they are fantastic for drinking tea. A very nice piece of Swedish design:http://www.scandinavianbrandsonline.com/se/art/swedish-grace-tekopp-m-fat.php
Oh they're beautiful .. ! love it.
Ha ! You remembered my Marlboro jab.
Smoking in the cabin of a yacht is dangerous. Don't do it. Smoke on deck if you must.
