Congrats!!! I don't know if SpotWalla is capable of this, but it would be nice to be able to see speed or average speed while you are at sea.

hahaha...at first I thought OMG they sank, then I check the SPOT and it was active for the 9th. Then I though bet they had a big fight and not talking to each other and someone sulking and not wanting to write. At a certain moment I reread the last message and thinking OMG what weird message inside that. Did they make a pact and jump over board. Then I rechecked SPOT and active 10th with only 34 miles to go.
Then I check the blog and YAY! alive and well and posting again.
What to do on the Pacific run 4 week or more at sea. :-)
Congratulations! we were a bit worried the last couple of days since we have not heard from you two. We look forward to an update when you are rested up.
Alex and Taru,
I was just reflecting on the sweet and exhilarating experience of making land fall after so many days at sea. Very emotional and hard to believe it is over type of feeling. And then the last 25 days disappears from memory by the sights and sounds of life around you. Fresh food, other people and noises you haven't enjoyed in such a long time. Soon that charm fades away and you can't wait to get to sea again. Endless cycle until you jump off the wheel.
Bravo !! Now do endulge yourselves in Barbados, with sun, sand and rhum !!
Way to go!!!! Keep it up, I am living vicariously thru you guys, and love to read what's going on. It's better than what I have to deal with in the Midwest of the U.S.A.
Congrats for both, nice weather and nice reporting on the www.. Have fun both!!! Sailing around the world is magnifique!!
You made it, congratulations
Incredible. . .congrats on making a successful passage!

Hey! Great to hear you're alive and probably enjoying Barbados to the fullest. I got a bit worried also, but was relieved to see thru the tracker you had arrived safe and sound. Waiting anxiously for new posts and feelings you've gone thru during the final days before stepping on solid land! Greetings from Finland, it's still snowy and cold, but soon off to Australia and NZ! :)

Jeez, people! The Barcelona World Race crossed your path while you were, I think, around the Canaries. Do you know where they are now? The leader is just approaching the southern tip of, ...no, not Africa, TASMANIA! And you're just making it to the Caribbean? Alex, you need to get a faster boat man. Glad you made land, enjoy :)
