Hey!
Don't be so hard on yourself, everybody makes mistakes and do things they should not do.
That's life.
Today I have been doing nothing, at all. It's been raining and really windy outside, so I guess the autumn has come to Sweden, which is both nice and not nice.
Today I had my rest-day, but tomorrow I'll go training again. Both tomorrow and on sunday, and then monday and wednesday. It's crazy but I love it!
Hope that your boat soon is ready for your adventures!
Hugs
Karin
Shit happens! Once you are able to lift the anchor and get sailing things will look up.
I have just finished my first rum and coke after getting back to the boat. We spent a day touring Sintra to get away from the heat of Lisboa (32 degrees) One day there was not enough. We visited the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. One day next week we will have to return to finish exploring the town. Off to the market tomorrow morning and then we have to make a back up plan for the winter. Our original plan was to winter in Rabat, but we will wait to see how the political climate develops in Morocco. We may have to get a visa for Spain because we are approaching our Schengen visa limit.
Hope your weekend goes well.
Lyndon
A nice dark rum float will have that effect. ;-)
Karin: Autumn in Sweden is beautiful. To be honest, I'd love to change place with you for a few hours, it is inhumanly hot here daytime and our poor little fans helps a bit but are not extremely effective.
Lyndon: Touring Sintra sounds lovely. I still have never had the opportunity to visit Portugal. Hoping to do that one day. We enjoyed our stay in Rabat very much. Things and food is very cheap and people are friendly. Only downside for us was the terrible pollution of the city, caused by their old cars and the massive amount of them. But besides that, great city. I'd love to go back and explore more of Morocco one day.
Patrick: those were good...
You're not full of shit, you're human :)
Hi Taru,
I am a new follower of your blog and as i keep going through all your blog post, both old and new, i feel miserable and envious, i really wish i could be on a boat sailing around the world, although i have never sailed, it has always been my dream, i hope you understand what an inspiration you both are for doing these, i wish both of you fair winds and good sailing :)
Regards,
Moe
What a beautiful pic! I'm so impressed by your photography!!! Don't worry, tomorrow is a new day!
Taru - you got me laughing out loud a few times!
Your writing just keeps getting better I think, and it was already great 1,5 years ago when I started reading this blog.
You are so inspiring.
For some weird reason, I'm proud that you're also Finnish.
Greetings from Helsinki,
Maria
Thanks girls for your comments :)
