Looks yummy, but I have to burst your fish bubble...neither of those fish are snappers. The top one is a grunt, and I can't tell what the bottom one is, but its not a snapper. Sometimes fish names get lost in translations, or locals have a different (often wrong) name for a fish. I like to keep a laminated sheet with pictures of fish & names so that when I snorkel I can identify the different fish species. If your ever unsure all species of snapper have a few (like 2-4) longish sharp pointy teeth at the front of their mouth. Grunts dont have these teeth. When you catch that snapper you'll know, and it'll taste so damn good!
Great catch. Snapper is so good. Thanks for the tip on how you cooked it. I may give that a go next time we catch some fish.
Much better than the alligator gar fish that he started with.
That last shot is amazing! Yay for finally catching some fish!!!
