Hello Taru,
I am looking at replacing our bimini and found these guys. I'm not sure if their products will work for me since our bimini is 12 ft x 12 ft. They may also be able to modify one of their stock products for a dodger.

Hello Again,
Here is the reply from SafeGuardCovers.com regarding custom work
Bobby (bobby@safeguardcovers.com)
Unfortunately, we do not do anything custom. It would probably be best to try and find someone that could do this locally.

Can you tell me where the photos were shot? I know the waters of southern New England, having sailed them pretty extensively.
Dunno how interested you are in the plants you see, but you are in my area now and I am a local naturalist, so I'll mention a few. The low trees in the thicket are sumac--probably smooth sumac, but possibly staghorn sumac if they were fuzzy. A few photos later you have bittersweet nightshade, marked by purple "shooting star" flowers and red berries. Mildly poisonous. Same family with tomato and potato.
Thanks Lorry for your effort, we'll keep looking.
Jeffrey, that's awesome. We were definitely wondering what those plants were that we hadn't seen before. Next time we'll bring you along to guide us! I love sumac in food, the middle eastern food in particular uses it very nicely in their cooking. Wonder if it's a non-poisonous variety we found there and if one could pick some and dry and roast the berries from the sumac shrub? The thicket was densely full of mosquitos, which might be a reason to why we have never seen anyone on that little island. It's Calf Island in the Boston Harbor archipelago.
hi
i´m a fequent reader of this blog... allmost from the beginning.
as a sailor i loved allways the stories- about sailing in different waters.
now it´s just the american way of life. a house, a boat and a harley. nothing of that sea gipsy lifestile you allways was showing and talking of is left. inox kitchens and fashion, inbetween some boat shots to keep the intention of sailor bohemia.
don´t want to say anything against your posts and pics. still cool.
but really... it´s a pitty that you guys stopped sailing and still talking about the few thousand miles and 2 years cruising.
of the sea or of the land? one life? are you afraid? what really prevents you to go to the pacific, i mean you realy had the chance and just the channel was between you to come to a different sailingworld (panama).
money shouldn´t be an issue, because if it would you could never sail, as the most of us, isn´t it.
i wish you all the best and don´t forget about the coconuts!
: )
