Maybe it's because (as I think you've mentioned before) most of your readers are blokes and hence tend to have an eye for female beauty and be more active in voicing their appreciation as well?

If you are going to take a picture of a turtle, the least you can do is be swimming next to it. :) Actually, I love all your post but would like to hear more about the boat and the systems. Issues, repairs, unforseen events, charts, routes, local knowledge, etc. Thanks!

And you do inspire me, through documenting your journey & making me believe that if you can do it, so can I. So... please don't stop!
